Lol, the LONGEST 8 days I've ever encountered.

Good news and not so good news...

3/18 - Dr. Arbelaez appointment (pre-delivery assessment)
3/19 - Non Stress Test @ 1:15pm
Pre-Admission to the Peri-Natal Ward, Bloodwork, Pre-Delivery/Caesarian Consultation
3/20 - Kathy (Christopher's Mom) Arrives
3/22 - Final Ultrasound @ 12:30pm
3/23 - Scheduled Caesarian Section
3/25 - Post-Op follow up with Dr. Arbelaez
3/27 - Cres & Yosh (My Mom & Dad) Arrive
4/4 - My Dad's Bday
Easter
Isabelle's Baptismal
4/5 - My parents depart

It's just really coming together and intimidating.

On another note, my MSP number in fact does not work yet, unfortunately. So we will be paying out of pocket, I think. This part is probably the most frustrating part of this whole roller coaster ride of crap. It's going to be expensive and we're not getting help for this so trying not to stress out over finances has proved to be really difficult. My parents do want to help out with the costs, and they have been with a lot of stuff so far - but this is a burden that we both just don't want to put on anyone but our own shoulders.

It was our decision to have a baby - and despite the fact that we were totally screwed by MSP/the Canadian government and it wasn't our fault really, that they're not covering us now - it still was and is our responsibility.

I hope things work out...and I know they will. I'm trying really hard not to stress out about it. It's just stupid that they'd send me an active MSP card, yet not give me full access to it. What's the point of even sending it if they didn't want me to use it yet? I just don't understand Canada sometimes.

It's like...Oooh here's your pretty card! Why thank you...that's so sweet of you! GOTCHA!! It's just there to show you what you'll be getting in the future!
