Christopher treated me out to Serenity Salon in Nanaimo. :) I was able to get my hair back to its normal 'Honey Brown' color. Ugh, I was so sick of black hair - you don't even know, haha. I honestly haven't had short black hair since I was 10 years old.
It was a wonderful little treat. :) They were wonderful there and not super expensive either. I think he's found me a 'local salon'. :)
On another note, I'm down to 135lbs~!! I was 165 when Izzy was born...officially losing 30lbs! :) I've just got 30lbs left to go and I'm back where I started, hahaha...!
Halfway there... :)

Wow IT HAS been quite a while since my last post, and I totally apologize. It's been pretty hectic with all the people coming and going (of course not in a bad way...but it's hectic nonetheless).
Isabelle sleeps throughout the night. Well, she sleeps from about 12:00am to about 5:00am every night so we're not so sleep deprived. She then sleeps from about 6:00am to about 11:00am...so if we did get any sleep deprivation from the first bit, then we have a chance to catch some ZzZ's in the second bit.
(On a tangent, lol I wonder how Canadians pronounce "Catch some Z's", hahaha. I wonder if they really say, "I'm going to catch some Zed's." It kinda makes me giggle IRL.)
She's been an absolute dream so far. She doesn't cry often - aside from fussing a bit when she's poopy and/or hungry. She has some traits that are absolutely hilarious/amazing such as rolling over, holding her pacifier/bottle in place, and knowing the difference between Mommy & Daddy. She was capable of all these feats within her first week of being born.
The day she was born and when we received her 6h after delivery (she had a few complications due to the anesthesia), she immediately rolled over for the first time. The nurse assigned to us was so shocked that she brought a few other nurses in just to show them what Izzy could do. :)
Apparently, "Newborns are not supposed to be able to doooo that~!"
I was diagnosed with Polyhydramnios during my pregnancy - that just meant that my uterus/amniotic sac got to be extra large and I had a plentiful amount of amniotic fluid. All it meant was that she had a bunch of extra room to swim around in. Apparently this once 'horrible' side effect turned out to be beneficial when she was born. It enabled her to be able to develop her neck muscles at an earlier age - where when she was born, she was already able to support her own head. LOL, it was absolutely bizarre. A 6hour old baby being able to support their own head without 'guidance' from the parent. We still kept supporting her head with our hands just incase, but she definitely was able to do it on her own.
On another note, I finished up the baby announcements which I will be sending ASAP to friends and family.

Sorry it took so long~!
